Right in West London, Earl’s Court sits quietly between Kensington and Fulham — a neighbourhood that’s equal parts residential, low-key and surprisingly full of good cafés once you start exploring.

I’ve spent a fair bit of time wandering around this part of town (usually on the way to a shoot or after a morning at Holland Park), and it’s a great little area to slow down in.

Whether you’re after a quick coffee stop or a full brunch with friends, here are some of my favourite spots in Earl’s Court.

The Best Earl’s Court Brunch Spots

1. Over Under Coffee

181A Earls Court Road, SW5 9RD

Right across from Earl’s Court Station, Over Under Coffee is one of those dependable neighbourhood cafés that gets it right every time.

The space is small but always buzzing, with flat whites flowing and classic brunch finds like fresh avocado toast.

Must try: The French Toast

2. Maroush

131 Earls Court Road, SW5 9RQ

For something a little different, Maroush serves delicious Lebanese dishes just a few steps from the station.

It’s more of an all-day restaurant than a classic brunch spot, but the mezze-style plates — think grilled halloumi, hummus and warm flatbread — work perfectly for a late breakfast.

The portions are generous and the coffee’s solid!

Must try: The Halloum Meshwi

3. Troubadour

265-267 Old Brompton Road, SW5 9JA

The Troubadour is an absolute local institution.

Around since the 1950s — it’s part café, part music venue — and still holds onto its vintage London feel.

Inside, you’ll find lots of mismatched tables and stories, and the brunch menu covers all the classics from full English to Shakshuka. Plus live music if you stay long enough!

Must try: The Troubadour English Breakfast

4. Dolci Coffee & Juice

176 Earls Court Road, SW5 9QQ

If you’re after a cosy and colourful Earl’s Court cafe, Dolci Coffee & Juice is your spot.

It’s bright, a little playful, and serves everything from smoothie bowls to poached eggs and fresh juices.

The décor leans pink and floral — you’ll definitely spot people snapping photos for the gram — but the food’s genuinely good.

Must try: The Avo Royal Eggs

5. Black Rabbit Cafe

308 Old Brompton Road, SW5 9JF

Black Rabbit Cafe is a local and small Earl’s Court gem — full of regulars who know the staff by name.

The coffee’s consistently good, and their brunch menu has all the essentials: pancakes, full English, and some excellent homemade cakes if you’re there later in the day.

Great for a brunch catch-up in the neighbourhood.

Must try: The Pancakes with Bacon

6. North Lodge Cafe

Brompton Cemetery North Lodge, Lillie Rd, SW5 9JE

A short walk from Earl’s Court, North Lodge Cafe sits at the entrance of Brompton Cemetery — one of London’s most peaceful green spaces.

It’s a great spot for sunny days when you want brunch outdoors or to retreat on a rainy day at the cemetery — serving quality coffee, pastries and light lunch plates (great for an Earl’s Court day out).

Must try: The Smashed Avocado on Toast with Feta and Seeds
