Valentine’s Day in London is a holiday like no other.

Dosed in an endless amount of things to do, see, and experience, you’ll be spoilt for choices when it comes to how to show love to your partner this season.

In my opinion, Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be about material gifts. After all, there’s only so many years you can do chocolate and roses before it gets a bit…basic.

Instead, why not opt for a London experience?

Not only is it a great way to create a new memory between you and your partner, but as you’ll soon see there’s tons of unique things to do in the city that frankly, you probably wouldn’t make the effort to do outside of a special occasion (like Valentine’s Day!).

From me to you, here’s 5+ Valentine’s Day experiences in London.

1. Romantic Valentine’s Dinner at Kanishka, Mayfair

One of my most recent Valentine’s Day experiences was at none other than Kanishka.

It’s a modern Mayfair restaurant headed by Michelin-star chef Atul Kochhar serving Indian-British flair.

For Valentine’s Day we tucked into their tasting menu including Patridge kali mirch with, coconut chutney, Mango Wine, Scottish pan seared scallop, Rare Duck, Triple chocolate dessert and more. It was divine.

2. Take a Romantic Dinner Cruise Across the Thames

Nothing says Valentine’s Day like a romantic dinner. But instead of going to a typical London restaurant, why not take your love to the riverside?

The 3-Hour Romantic Dinner Cruise will sail you along the River Thames with spectacular London nighttime views as your backdrop.

Not to mention a welcome glass of champagne, 3-course dinner and live music. Talk about a night to remember!

3. Dine Gourmet-Style on a Double-Decker Bus

I’ll admit, I’m not a big fan of touristy London bus tours.

But when it comes to Bustronome, they deserve the exception.

The dining experience offers a 6-course dinner on a transformed luxury coach, all delightfully prepared whilst you’re roaming around the city’s best sights.

Whether you’re visiting London with your partner for Valentine’s Day or simply want to add a new London experience to your bucket list — I highly recommend!

4. Do a Secret British Food Tour

If your relationship is anything like mine, then good times most often revolve around good food.

For a Valentine’s Day experience in London that won’t disappoint, check out the 3-Hour Secret British Food Tour with your partner and devour tons of yummy British staples across Borough Market and beyond.

5. Take a Day Trip to Windsor

I can’t think of anything more romantic than spending Valentine’s Day roaming British castles, can you?

Take the hour train journey from London to Windsor to experience a lovely day in the royal town and make a Valentine’s Day you won’t forget.

P.S – Make sure to get your Windsor admission tickets before you go!

6. Hot Tub Across Canary Wharf

If you’re looking to make things a little steamy with your Valentine, then it’s time to take a Hot Tub through Canary Wharf.

The 75 minute hot-tub experience includes your very own self-guided boat to sail across the sunset with your love, alongside your drink of choice.

Honestly the experience is unlike anything you’ll ever do in London, and a cheeky excuse to get your love in a hot tub!

P.S – If hot tubs aren’t your thing, take a ride along Regent’s Canal!
