I don’t think there’s anyone in the world that hates Sundays (at least I haven’t found them yet).
But that final day of weekend bliss is even more splendid when it’s in the capital. So, if you’re keen to spend your Sunday in London roaming markets, catching sunsets, and exploring all the city has to offer, here’s how I spend my Sundays in London.
Sunday in London: Spend the Morning in East London

Visit Columbia Road Flower Market

A frenzied affair of antiques, delicious street food finds and nearly flower you could think of, you’ll want to start your day at my favorite Sunday pastime, Columbia Road Flower Market.
An East End staple Columbia Road has been going strong (rain or shine) for decades, but it does get busy — so always go early when you can.
Entrance Fee: free
Time to spend: 1-2 hours
Address in London: Columbia Rd, London E2 7RG (nearest tube station: Old Street)
Outside of its exclusive ‘Sunday only’ allure, it also puts you very close to Shoreditch, which reminds me…
Do a Street Art Tour in Shoreditch

In my opinion, Sundays in London are made for walking, and what better way to get your steps in than a street art tour?
Make your way from Columbia road into the land of vintage shops, hipster facades, and deliciously overly priced oat milk, or should I say, Shoreditch.
Now, I’ll be honest, a day in Shoreditch could easily be its own affair. But for today, you can stick to a quick walk around the area — walking around, taking in the art, and snapping some pics for the gram of course.
P.S – If you’re not sure where to start follow my Shoreditch street art tour!
Entrance Fee: free
Time to spend: 1 hour
Address in London: Throughout the Shoreditch area (nearest tube stations: Shoreditch High Street)
Sunday in London: Spend the Afternoon in North London

Eat at Camden Market
I hope you haven’t eaten yet, because we’re going to Camden!
Head North to Camden to spend the afternoon doused in eclectic charm, punk rock, and buzzing markets. Yep, I’m talking about Camden.
Of course, there’s tons of things to do in Camden, but for today you’ll want to spend ample time in Camden Market to really take it all in.
With over 1000 shops and stalls to pursue, spend some lazy hours sifting through vintage finds, listening to music, and of course — trying the street food!
My personal favorites are the giant burritos from the Mexican food stall right near the market entrance (the workers are super friendly!) and the Dutch Pancakes…heaven on earth.
Entrance Fee: free
Time to spend: 1 1/2 hours
Address in London: 54-56 Camden Lock Pl, Camden Town, London NW1 8AF (nearest tube station: Camden Town)
Once you’ve ordered, you’ll want to take your meal somewhere with a view…
Watch the Sunset on Primrose Hill

From Guy Fawkes night to sunset dates, I’ve made more memories on Primrose Hill than I can count, usually on a Sunday.
Take your Camden grub (you may want to bring a blanket) and perch yourself on top of Primrose Hill for the very best view of London.
Going to North London in the afternoon also puts you right on time for sunset. So sit back, have a bite and watch the sun go down like a true Londoner.
P.S – If you still have some time to kill, here’s more things to get up to in Primrose Hill!
Entrance Fee: free
Time to spend: 30-45 minutes
Address in London: Primrose Hill Rd, Primrose Hill, London NW1 4NR (Chalk Farm or a 12 minute walk from Camden market — I prefer the walk!)

Have a Cuppa to End the Day

All this exploring will surely leave you thirsty. End your Sunday in London with a sip at one of Primrose Hills cafes and relax for a few lazy minutes before you call it a day…and get ready for Monday!
Time to spend: 30 minutes
