After a day of exploring the royal borough, you may be looking for the best Kensington hostels to call it a night.
I love spending my days in this area discovering the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Portobello Road, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, and of course, Kensington Palace (all of which are surprisingly affordable).
But if you want to bypass the eye-googling prices of Kensington hotels, a hostel is the perfect alternative.
Without further ado, here are the best Kensington hostels worth your stay.
Comparison & Reviews of the Best Kensington Hotels, London
Astor Hyde Park
The Astor Hyde Park manor house turned hostel is the perfect Kensington abode to feel like a local for the day.
Set in charming South Kensington and only a stone’s throw away from Hyde Park, you’ll be deliriously close to all there is to do in the area.
But there’s tons to do in the manor house itself, from watching group movies on their larger-than-life projector screen to enjoying their £1 all-you-can-eat breakfast (even better, all the funds go to charity!).
The dining area is perfect for connecting with other travelers and of course, they’ve got tons of daily activities going on. Point being, if you’re looking to enjoy Kensington life without the Kensington budget (and meet loads of cool travelers on the way) Astor Hyde Park is your place.

Safestay London Kensington
With chic rooms and a total solo-traveler-friendly vibe, Safestay Holland Park is the best place to end a day of exploring Kensington.
Set in my favorite park in London you can wake up surrounded by the luxury of Holland Park. The Jacobean building comes with a charming courtyard garden and a bit of history to it as well. Dating back to 1605 the mansion once housed Sir Walton Scott, Lord Byron, and Dickens (yes..that Dickens).
With a range of accommodation options and easy transport links, I’d highly recommend this Kensington hostel if you want to get away from the hustle of London after a long day of exploring.
Amenities of Interest:
• Unique Location
• Outdoor Terrace
• Free Wifi
