Richmond is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re in London altogether.
Completely removed from the bustle of London, the area boasts a village-like feel, acres of rolling woodlands (hello Richmond Park) and the calmness of the Thames, all under one charming London neighbourhood.
To enjoy the area properly, I suggest starting in the morning, and with the morning, comes brunch.
In this post, I’ll be sharing where to find the best brunch in Richmond, where to find the best bottomless brunch in Richmond, outdoor brunch spots in Richmond, vegan and vegetarian brunch in Richmond and things to do in Richmond after your brunch. Enjoy!

1. The Petersham Restaurant
Nightingale Ln, Richmond TW10 6UZ
Leave it to The Petersham Restaurant to be one of the best hotels in Richmond and have one of the best brunches too.
A Richmond hotspot housing commanding views of the Thames, you can enjoy the best of British brunch here — with a traditional Full English that’ll make you fall in love.

2. Antipodea
30 Hill St, Richmond TW9 1TW
Antipodea is the perfect combination of trendy and delicious (hard to get with Instagrammable cafes in London!).
The relaxed Aussie-brasserie stays true to culture, with healthy brunch dishes front and centre. Housemade Muesli Bars and freshly baked banana bread are all the norm here. But of course, there’s some Australian favourites too (like the Vegemite, Honey, Marmite and Nutella on toast anybody?).
The interiors instantly make you feel like you’ve stepped into a palm oasis. But if you’re in the mood for some people watching, you can take your breakfast to their lovely patio, making it one of the best outdoor brunch spots in Richmond too.
Must-Try: Blueberry Pancakes and Antipodea Housemade Granola
3. 144 on the Hill
149-150 Richmond Hill, Richmond TW10 6RW
Is it just me or does 144 on the Hill already sound like its going to be an amazing brunch spot (*hint hint* it is!).
Sitting pretty on Richmond Hill, 144 is where the locals go to start their mornings, with a Georgian backdrop and delicious breakfast of course.

But outside of the old school charm of the Bingham, their breakfast menu makes it well worth the visit.
Whether it’s feasting on all the Black Pudding and Creamy Porridge you can handle, to simply going for a traditional English and taking in the view, any brunch here is sure to be an experience.
