There’s few areas in London that beat the vibe of Brixton. With a thriving Afro-Caribbean community, vibrant markets and street art, and a creative hub it’s an area I can’t help but come back to again and again in London. Especially for their brunch scene!
In this post, I’ll be sharing where to find the best brunch in Brixton, where to find the best bottomless brunch in Brixton, the best vegan and vegetarian brunch spots in Brixton and the best gluten-free breakfast places in Brixton. You ready? Let’s get into it.
Best Breakfast & Brunch in Brixton

1. Three Little Birds
412 Coldharbour Ln, London SW9 8LF
If you like Bob Marley, Caribbean brunch and supporting women-owned businesses, Three Little Birds just might become your new favourite breakfast in Brixton.
Founded by former Miss Jamaica, April Jackson combined her love for food and entrepreneurial spirit into a Caribbean haven of good vibes and good food.
They also have a bottomless brunch in Brixton that will leave you sending! Choose any of their breakfast menu (including Curry Goat, Jerk Roasted Cauliflower and some of the best ackee & saltfish you’ll find in Brixton) and pair it with unlimited prosecco, mimosas & rum punch for an additional £25. Let’s eat!
Must-Try: Jamaican Breakfast
2. Cattivo
207 Ferndale Rd, London SW9 8BA
Cattivo is where you go if you like your breakfast with a twist, an Italian twist of course.
Basking off the success of Canova Hall and Martello Hall in Brixton (very similar concept with bottomless brunches as well) Cattivo is on the come-up to be locals favourite Italian cafe.
For £30 you can enjoy a free-flowing bottomless brunch in Brixton with a choice of Cattivo Rum Punch, Pink Prosecco, or ‘Make-Your-Own-Bubbly’ cocktail kit for over two hours!
But the drinks aren’t the only star of the show here. All the dishes are lovingly homemade by their team of dedicated chefs — from fresh pasta and soft gnocchi to gooey Italian doughnuts (Bomboloni).
Must-Try: Mushroom & Truffle Arancini
3. The Blues Kitchen
40 Acre Ln, London SW2 5SP
If you’ve got a soft spot for the American deep south, it’s time you pay a visit to The Blues Kitchen. It’s hard to imagine they could fit an epic brunch menu alongside being a live music powerhouse, but they did!
They’ve got one of the best brunches in Brixton in my opinion, including foodie showstoppers like Creole Crab Benedict, Huevos Rancheros and The Big Vegan Breakfast, to name a few.
If you prefer to go bottomless (in public?!…joking) they’ve got that too! With two hours of Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Prosecco with your brekky. Yes please.
Must-Try: The Big Bluesy Breakfast
4. Hip Hop Brunch
30 Acre Ln, London SW2 5SG (Secret Location)
Hip Hop Brunch is the kind of place you keep hearing about over and over again until you finally have to go for yourself.
The multi-award-winning brunch spot is one magical hour of bottomless cocktails, a 3-course meal, Hip Hop karaoke and a slew of entertainment.
The location changes each week so your Brixton brunch spot won’t exactly be predictable, but that’s the fun of it! Tickets are £44.99 and sell out weeks in advance, so you’ll want to book early on this one.
But once you’re enjoying Cajun breakfast goodness over the best Hip Hop tunes with your mates, it’ll be well well worth it.
Must-Try: Sweet Potato & Corn Fritter
5. Three Eight Four
384 Coldharbour Ln, London SW9 8LF
Gimme a three! Gimme an eight! Gimme a four! Gimme a Three Eight Four! (too cheesy? moving on…)
A buzzing cocktail & tapas hub Three Eight Four is where you go for that weekend brunch catchup you’ve been telling your friend you’d set up for ages but haven’t, so you make up for it with a really cool brunch spot.
No worries, once in you can make up over delicious Huevos Rotos and baconfied Pancakes.
If you’d like, you can also pair your breakfast with their ‘Add Your Brunch Cocktails’ including A Kir Royal, Bloody Mary, two Proseccos and an Espresso Martini. Told you it was a cool brunch spot!
Must-Try: Huevos Rotos (or Huevos Notos — the vegan alternative)
6. F Mondays
112A Brixton Hill, London SW2 1AH
If you like Mondays this probably isn’t the place for you. But for everyone else, F Mondays might be your next favourite brunch in Brixton.
The casual coffee shop doubles as a grocery store with ‘simple yet delicious’ brunches as they put it. So if extravagant breakfasts aren’t really your thing, it’s a great place for an impromptu brunch in Brixton (and they make a darn good Toastie…just saying).
Must-Try: Bacon + Maple Syrup on brioche with mascarpone + a peanut butter brittle crumble (when available)
7. Canova Hall
250 Ferndale Rd, London SW9 8BQ
You probably remember Canova Hall from when I was talking about Cattivo, but I thought it deserved its own mention. The pizza bar and co-working space also holds one of the best brunches in Brixton.
Between the Truffle Scrambled Eggs, Chili Hash Browns and Vegan Fried Chicken you’ll be spoilt for choices here. And for just £30 a person you can take up their bottomless brunch for two hours of breakfast goodness (and bubbly).
Must-Try: A-List Avacado Toast
8. Kata Kata
132A Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RS
Kata Kata is the best breakfast in Brixton for vegans and vegetarians (it’s also one of the best gluten-free breakfasts in Brixton). Dosed in Cameroonian culture, breakfast here is more like an experience than a meal.
They firmly believe that healthy food shouldn’t cost your wallet — and it shows in their menu. Take up a plate here piled with creamy mushroom, ripe plantain and quinoa or indulge in their speciality Vegan Cheese and Spicy Grilled Aubergines.
The best part? All the vegetables and herbs used are directly from their own garden. Talk about a good breakfast!
Must-Try: Mushroom Pate with Caramalised Onions
9. Turtle Bay
382-384, Brixton Rd, London SW9 7AW
Turtle Bay has long held a spot in sw9 as one of the best places to grub, especially for breakfast.
Everything on the menu comes with a twist. So if you like your avocado spiced and your roti for breakfast, you’ve picked the right spot.
They’ve also been in the bottomless brunch in Brixton scene for a hot minute — with two hours of unlimited cocktails and mocktails and a brunch dish all for £29.50.
Must-Try: Big Kingston Grill Down (or Big Vegan Grill Down)
10. Brixton Courtyard
261 Brixton Rd, Vassal, London SW9 6LH
I couldn’t talk about brunch in Brixton without talking about the Brixton Courtyard.
Home to the ‘Brixton Jamm Bottomless Brunch on the Beach (as you can imagine, not an actual beach…I wish!) it’s one of the hottest events in the area for a weekend get-together.
For £30 per person, you’ll get 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, a main course, Party DJ and games and prizes in a heated outdoor space (a great outdoor brunch in Brixton).
Whether you’re keen on Jamaican Waffles or Vegan Fried Chicken, one thing’s for sure, you’re leaving here full! (and maybe a bit tipsy too if we’re honest).
Must-Try: Jamaican waffles
