Nestled inbetween Hampstead and Primrose Hill, Belsize Park has always been somewhat of a North London hidden gem.
But as you’ll soon realise, there’s tons of things to do in Belsize Park including loads of local cafes and coffee shops to enjoy (and yes, some chains too).
Without further ado, here’s the best Belsize Park cafes to get your morning fix.
The Best Cafes and Coffee Shops in Belsize Park

Belsize Organic
64 Belsize Ln, Belsize Park, London NW3 5BJ
Small but mighty Belsize Organic serves some of the best whole foods and organic coffee Belsize Park has to offer. The Belsize Park cafe is relatively new to the neighbourhood, but has been welcome with open arms.
It doubles a grocery shop with a small area for outdoor seating, great for a pick-me-up before exploring Belsize Park’s green spaces or a quick meeting spot for a coffee and a chat.
Chez Nous
157 Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, London NW3 4QT
There’s nothing in Belsize Park quite like Chez Nous (which is probably why I’ve already named it one of the best things to do in Belsize Park and a delicious brunch spot in Belsize Park too).
The French cafe specialises in all day breakfast and lunch, but it makes for a good coffee spot in Belsize Park too — especially for all the people-watching opportunities.
Sip on espressos or a hot cup of tea on Haverstock Hill and watch the neighbourhood roll by.
Didi’s Juice Bar
199 Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, London NW3 4QG
Okay so it’s not your typical Belsize Park coffee shop, but with amazing fresh juices, smoothies and acai bowls, I thought Didi’s deserved a mention.
The quaint juice bar sits on Haverstock Hill and makes for a fantastic healthy drink on-the-go if you’re in the area. I suggest going for the NO 38 (with avocado, apple, oats, spinach, parsley and mint) or NO 39 (strawberry, blueberry, oats, raspberry, banana and apple) for a Belsize Park smoothie dream come true.
Gail’s
167 Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, London NW3 4QT
This place consistently ranks as one of London’s best coffee chains, and it doesn’t take rocket science to figure out why.
Well-known for their fresh handmade bread, pastries, and speciality house blend coffee, Gail’s quality is tried-and-true — great for popping in for a hot (or cold) brew before exploring all the Belsize Park area has to offer. Don’t even get me started on their muffins…
Starbucks
202 Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, London, NW3 2AG
The Godfather of the London coffee scene (and let’s face it, everywhere) has found a place in Belsize Park, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Say what you want about Starbucks, but they do serve a darn good cup of coffee, and are always a reliable place to hucker up with your laptop and get some work done (here’s more fantastic coffee shops in London to work from).
There’s two locations in Belsize Park, one right outside the station on Haverstock Hill and one on England’s Lane — but the England’s Lane one is particularly charming.
Roni’s
37, 39 Belsize Ln, Belsize Park, London NW3 5AS
Roni’s and Belsize Park go together like fish and chips. The North London staple comes with lovely views of Belsize Village and deliciously brewed coffee.
Given its idyllic location, I definitely suggest making your coffee a ‘eat-in’ here and doing a spot of people-watching while you’re sipping away. While you’re there, why not add a bagel too! (it is their thing after all).
Euphorium Belsize Park
211 Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, London NW3 4QN
This Instagrammable London coffee shop staple has supassed its reputation for being ‘just another London chain’, becoming a trusted fixture in the Belsize Park cafe scene.
But Euphorium Belsize Park has everything you could want in a London coffee shop really, from premium (and ethically sourced coffee) to fresh smoothies & tasty treats.
Not to mention their outdoor seating gives especially lovely views, so try to go on a sunny day in London if you can!
