The Best Brunch & Breakfast Spots in Hammersmith, London

1. The Cellar at Kindred
Bradmore House, Queen Caroline St, London W6 9BW
Most times going into an unknown cellar is something you should NOT DO.
However, if it is Cellar at Kindred — I recommend it, because the only blood you’ll find here is the sweet Blood Orange Marmalade ready to be spread on a piece of oh-so-delicious crusty toast.
Here you’ll find warm Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Muffins and more all for less than £10.
Plus, it’s the perfect place if you’re looking for something a bit more fancy with dishes like the Confit Duck & Leek Hash, and Fried Duck Eggs.
Open all day for food and drinks, they openly welcome all. Plus, brunch is served until 3pm which is great if you want to have a little bit more of a lie-in.
2. La Petite Bretagne
5-7 Beadon Rd, London W6 0EA
Grown from the home cooking of a grandmother, when moving to London the owner brought the familiar flavours of Vannes, South Brittany France to Le Petite Bretagne.
This contemporary creperie has got a menu full of dreamy crepes, both savory and sweet.
Savour the Alsacienne, a buckweat crepe filled with Cheese, Egg, Bacon strips, Crème Fraiche, and Onion, or bite into the Belle- Hélène — an incomparable combination of pear and dark chocolate with vanilla ice cream.
Also, good news! All their buckwheat crepes (which is most of the menu) are gluten-free, making it a great place to brunch if you are looking for a gluten-free brunch in Hammersmith.
3. Bill’s
10 Hammersmith Grove, W6 7AP
The brunch menu at Bill’s is steady, with delicious finds like Bills Big Brunch if you’re looking for something to fill you up.
The menu here has all the classics, like Poached Egg Avocado Toast or a large stack of fluffy pancakes. Their Eggs Benedict brings something fun with a side of fries, and I’m not sure about you, but I’ll never say no to some fries.
It’s also all-day dining, 8:00 – 11:00pm, so whether you are an early bird or night owl, Bill’s has got you covered for your breakfast in Hammersmith.
4. Cafe Continente
62 North End Rd, London W14 9EP
If you like pastries, cakes, or all-day breakfast, Cafe Continente is the place to be.
This quaint little spot serves a decadent selection of fresh cakes (made daily) and a variety of delicious homemade pastries.
For those of you who prefer savory, they’ve also got options like their Eggs Royale, Spinach Eggs Florentine, and of course, a Full English.
Just don’t forget to pair your meal with a cup of their finely made coffee or tea.
5. Coffee Station
167 King St, London W6 9JT
When a place doesn’t have a website, you know they’re good. It just means they’re focused on other things, like making some banging food. In the case of Coffee Station — that’s exactly whats going on.
Sit down and enjoy some tasty options like the Salmon with Cream Cheese on Sourdough topped with Figs and Avocado or Eggs Florentine.
If you’re just looking for some quick brekkie on your wander through Hammersmith, Coffee Station is the place, with an array of pastries from Apricot Danishes to Almond Croissants…and Cannolis!
6. Brasserie Blanc
Goldhurst House, Parr’s Wy., London W6 9AN
Right on the Riverside Brasserie Blanc is for the people who like to brunch Boujee.
The light wooden floors and brightly coloured velvetly chairs invite you in, and the food makes you stay.
The seasonal menu delicately plates dishes like a Full English (veggie option too), Eggs Benedict, and decorated Smashed Avocado Toast, so you won’t be disappointed.
Also, it’s not brunch, but their private dining set menu deserves a mention for the Cheese Souffle alone.
7. Truth
36, 38 Fulham Palace Rd, London W6 9PH
To tell you the truth, this place rocks. Hahah, I make myself laugh sometimes.
But seriously, this place is great — and is uber great if you’re looking for a vegan or vegetarian breakfast in Hammersmith, with their Veggie Benedict, Creamy Pesto Mushrooms, or American Style Pancakes (which are gluten-free too!)
Also, don’t fret if you are looking for some classic non-veggie options; they also plate up a classic Full English, so everyone’s satisfied
Must Try: Sweet Potato Waffles
8. Le Petit Citron
98-100 Shepherds Bush Rd, London W6 7PD
Brunch is a classic meal no matter what cuisine it is, and Le Petit Citron does it the French way.
With a mainly savory menu, try the Toast Á La Josephine — a delectable combination of Streaky Bacon, Goats Cheese, and Avocado.
Or, you can go all in with a burger for brunch by choosing the Le Bistro Burger, which comes with a side of frites, and like I said earlier, I never say no to some fries.
From 10:00am – 11:00am on both Saturdays and Sundays, they have the Early Bird brunch deal, where you can get 25% off select dishes just for eating during that time!
P.S. – They have a huge dessert menu that you can order from during breakfast & brunch time too!
9. Antipode
28 Fulham Palace Rd, London W6 9PH
I’m bringing brunch’n back…ooowoahhh ‘(sang in the tune of I’m Bringing Sexy Back’, thank you very much).
Antipode just recently brought back their brunch, and it’s served all week this time. You can bite into their renowned Bacon and Egg Naan, yummy Shakshouka, and Harrissa Eggs, all in one morning if you fancy.
Also, Time Out listed this cafe as No. 11 in their Best Cafes in London, so you know it’s gonna be good.
10. The Ritz Cafe
340a King St, London W6 0RR
No frills, no fuss, just good food. That’s The Ritz Cafe.
Open during the hours that breakfast is important, you can get there early and enjoy it with the sunrise at 6:30, or head on over after sleeping in with last order being at 2:30pm.
Might I add they also have the most perfect looking sunny-side up eggs I’ve ever seen.
