What is Hobbledown Heath?

What is Hobbledown Heath?

Hobbledown Heath itself (not the pumpkin patch) is a 126-acre adventure park in Hounslow with outdoor play areas, themed villages, and animals (think high ropes, climbing towers, goats, lemurs, and more).

The adventure park was designed for families, but come autumn the star of the show is their Pumpkin Patch — which is perfect for hanging out with friends or a seasonal date.

Complete with wheelbarrows, photo spots, and games to make a whole afternoon of it.

Things to Do at Hobbledown Heath in Autumn

The great thing about Hobbledown Heath is there’s truly something to get up to for all ages, these are a few of my favourite:

🎃 Pumpkin Picking:

Of course, the star of the show has to be pumpkin picking when it comes to your Hobbledown Heath visit.

Grab a wheelbarrow and wander through the meadow to find your favourite.

Keep in mind that if you buy a general ticket, you’ll have to purchase your pumpkin separately (we learned this the hard way), but they also have an Open-Dated Pumpkin Patch Ticket that includes a pumpkin up to 25cm.

☕️🍂 Eat & Drink Autumn Treats

Once you’ve picked your pumpkin, warm up with marshmallow roasting by the fire pits, seasonal snacks, and plenty of spots to grab an autumn drink.

Basically, think of it as a cosy autumn festival!

📸 Get Your Autumn Photos Sorted

It’s no secret that a pumpkin patch is phenomenal place to get some lovely autumn shots.

Hobbledown knows it well, with seasonal displays scattered throughout the patch — great for some autumn Instagram shots.

🌙 Pumpkin Nights:

For a spookier Hobbledown Heath pumpkin patch visit, consider going for a Pumpkin Night instead.

It’s for after dark entry with a bit more of an atmospheric vibe with lights, music, and glowing seasonal displays.

💭 Coming with kids?

If you’ve got little ones in tow, there’s tons designed with kids in mind. Beyond the pumpkin patch, you’ll find:

  • Play areas: From climbing towers to sand play and adventure villages, there’s more than enough to keep children entertained for hours.
  • Animal fun: Say hello to goats, alpacas, meerkats, and even lemurs during your visit.

You can also enjoy the pumpkin patch bits for your autumn day out, too!

But they’d probably enjoy a visit to the actual Hobbledown Heath park in addition (for maximum fun, of course).
