There’s nothing like spending a day in SW19. But contrary to popular belief, tennis isn’t the only thing to be found in this South London gem.
From scenic green spaces to countryside charm, there’s an abundance of things to get up to in Wimbledon, and of course, plenty to eat.
Here’s where to find the best brunch in Wimbledon, including the best breakfast spots in Wimbledon, the best brunch spots in Wimbledon and the best bottomless brunch in Wimbledon. Enjoy!
The Best Brunch & Breakfast Spots in Wimbledon

1. Fire Stables
Just a short walk from Wimbledon’s high street and you’ll find Fire Stables, a local favourite for weekend catch-ups (and it’s dog-friendly too). Brunch wise, you’re spoiled for choice — with everything from a hearty Full English to gooey French Toast at your fingertips.
I’d suggest having a bite here if you’re looking for someplace with a more ‘village-feel’, especially if you’re looking to explore the rest of Wimbledon for the day.
Must-Try: Orange & Fennel Smoked Salmon Royale
2. Megan in the Village
I feel like you can’t talk about brunch in London without mentioning Megan’s somehow — but hey, for good reason! The all-day dining spot consistently offers a lovely atmosphere, hefty brunch menu and all you can ask for for a breakfast in Wimbledon.
Feast on their infamous Shakshouka or stick to the classics with an Eggs Benedict (and mimosa of course).
Must-Try: Megan’s Brunch and Halloumi Fries with Honey
3. Maison St Cassien
One of my favourite things about brunch in Wimbledon is all the amazing independents they have — and Maison St Cassien is no exception.
Friendly and relaxed, the Mediterranean and Lebanese breakfast spot has caught the attention of plenty of Wimbledon superstars (Andy Murray included) for their friendly staff and dang good coffee.
Start your morning with their sweet almond croissants or a savoury smoked salmon, and maybe a tennis game after if you’re keen!
Must-Try: Croque Madame
4. Carluccio’s
If you like Italian and brunch in Wimbledon, you’ll love Carluccio’s.
Although they are a chain their breakfast options doesn’t disappoint, with a vegetarian Full English, avocado & poached eggs and Italian-style pancakes all up for grabs.
Perfect if you’re looking for a slightly fancier breakfast (or a morning brunch date perhaps?)
Must-Try: Traditional Breakfast
5. Gooseberry Bush Café

With all the ‘new and cool’ brunch spots popping up in London (and beyond), it’s difficult to find low-key spots to grab a good breakfast, especially with little ones.
The Gooseberry Bush Café is a Wimbledon staple for their child friendly atmosphere, freshly-baked cakes and delicious quiches. Pop in for a quick brunch and enjoy feeling like a Wimbledon local for the day.
Must-Try: Daily fresh pastries
6. Bill’s
Bill’s is where you go for a guaranteed good brunch.
Dotted across London the contemporary European chain serves up ever breakfast dish you could think of, not to mention amazing plant-based options like ‘The Plant Plate’ fit with vegan bacon, sausage and the works!
If you’re feeling extra naughty, add on their Five Pancake Stack too.
Must-Try: Stacked Pancakes
7. The Ivy Cafe
For a classy brunch in Wimbledon, make your way down to The Ivy Cafe.
The pictureque restaurant is well-known for their brunch menu, with a yummy collection of morning cocktails and all your favourite classic breakfast finds (Hot Buttermilk Pancakes anyone?).
Although the interiors are stunning, try dining al fresco if the weather permits — where you can sip on morning tea and take in Wimbledon village scenes like a local.
Must-Try: The Ivy Full English & Hot Buttermilk Pancakes
8. Eggs Benedict Café
Any breakfast place with a name like Eggs Benedict Café is worth giving a shot. Rightfully named the Wimbledon cafe is deliriously passionate about good quality breakfast, and of course, Eggs Benedict.
Pay a visit to try their homemade treats and South Wimbledon breakfast favourites.
Must-Try: Eggs Benedict!
9. Lu-Ma
If you’re in the mood for a healthy brunch in Wimbledon, don’t leave with a visit to Lu-Ma. The down to earth restaurant serves the best of organic brunch and smoothies, from scrambled tofu on toast to gooey coconut porridge.
Have a bite then a walk around Wimbledon Park for the full health kick.
Must-Try: Boosty Smoothie
10. Paul’s Wimbledon
Okay, okay — it’s not the ‘hidden Wimbledon cafe you’ve never heard of’ but Paul’s is always a good shout.
The French patîsserie is a haven for tasty treats (including drool-worthy macaroons). Ideal for grabbing a quick coffee and pastry if you’re looking for a quick brunch in Wimbledon.
Must-Try: Pain Au Chocolat
