If there is one thing London knows how to do, it’s how to have a good time.
Between Central, North, East, South, and West — London is covered in some of the grooviest bars any city has ever seen.
With a large population of young professionals, students, and other Londoners looking to have a good time, many spots here offer happy hour deals you won’t want to miss.
So without further ado, here are my top 12 recommendations for places to hit up if you’re looking for the best happy hours in London.
Where to Find the Best Happy Hours in London

1. Simmons
Nick Campbell knew what he was doing when he started Simmons, and boy do we thank him for it.
Across London, this familiar chain is known for being one of the best party bars in the capital. At any of their locations, you can expect to have an unforgettable night and not damage your wallet…that much.
The happy hour deal here is unmatched. For starters, it’s five hours long, beginning mid-afternoon at 4pm and going until past sunset at 9pm.
During the entire time, you can enjoy 2 for £10 cocktails, £2.50 spirit & mixers or bottles of beer, and £3 glasses of wine (only £12 for a whole bottle!).
It doesn’t stop there either, popular amongst the crowds are the cocktail teapots, and yes they’re exactly what they sound like (and yes they’re amazing).
For just £15 you get an entire teapot, best spilt among 3-4 people, filled to the brim with your choice of happy hour cocktail.
Luckily for you too, since opening in 2013 more than 30 locations have popped up around London. So what are you waiting for? Find the Simmons closest to you and enjoy that night out!
P.S.– Their Shoreditch, Soho, and Bank locations are great!
2. Bar Salsa
If you love to dance, and are looking for a night out where you can truly let loose, Bar Salsa is the place to be.
The South American themed nightclub is known for its Latin fever, and has all the classic tunes on queue.
Head to either of their two locations, Soho or Temple, and celebrate happy hour here from 5pm – 8pm with 50% off all drinks. Yes, seriously 50%!
Or, if you’re looking to have a set menu of cocktails arriving straight to the table all night, might I suggest their Cocktail Masterclass?
Upon arrival enjoy a Strawberry Daiquiri, followed soon after by making a Mojito and Pornstar Martini, then having a go at a Flavored Tequila Shot — all topped off with a sharing plate of Nachos.
3. All Bar One
All Bar One is the kinda place you go to when you’re looking for a ‘casual upscale’ London night out.
There’s an extensive cocktail menu to choose from, danceable tunes, and lux ambient lighting making it a perfect balance of cute and comfortable.
With over 15 locations in London alone (and more across the UK) each gives their own unforgettable experience. Did I mention they do bottomless brunch too?
But, I promised you happy hours, and so I will give you just that.
At their Wimbledon location, you can’t miss the 2 for £14 cocktail deal Sunday through Wednesday starting at 5pm and…going all night long.
P.S. – All Bar one is also a great place if you’re looking for alcohol-free options, with quite a long list of mocktails!
4. Rum Kitchen
Rum lovers unite!
Rum Kitchen is a London bar staple, stocking over 100 different kinds of Rum, and using it to make mouthwatering Caribbean-inspired cocktails.
This bar has a rich history as well. Their first location was in Notting Hill and known as the Mangrove Club. This club was a place where the Black community could go to relax in the midst of the turbulent 1960’s, and saw the faces of icons like Nina Simone, Jimi Hendrix, and even Bob Marley from time to time.
Today they continue to be a welcoming space and are just as excited to see the iconic faces of all of the wonderful people like you looking for a good time!
Everyday until 7pm you can sample an array of different incredible rum-based cocktails, starting at £6, like the Jamrock Punch, a perfect mix of Appleton Estate Signature and Koko Kanu Rum with sweetness of fruits like Pineapple, Guava, and Lime and a splash of Grenadine.
P.S. – They also have a selection of mocktails for just £4.50!
5. Pitcher & Piano
Pitcher and Piano pours up a sophisticated experience and is perfect if you’re looking for classy dinner and drinks, or a night out with the girls.
At both their Central London Location in Cornhill, and the Richmond location — their shots and bombs are the main attraction during happy hour. For just £16 you can get 4 shots, or for £19 four of your favourite bombs.
If you’re a wine lover, their buy 5 bottles get the 6th free is an iconic deal and has unforgettable night written all over it.
6. The Clapham North
The neighbourhood of Clapham is swimming with young professionals, so it’s no shock that they have one of the most popping pubs in London for happy hour.
With cocktails and glasses of wine being just 2 for £12 every weekday day from 4pm – 7pm (and all day on Thursday) a night out at The Clapham North is a must if you’re looking for a chilled-out happy hour complete with live music and that local feel.
7. Prince of Peckham
£5 pound cocktails. I repeat FIVE POUND cocktails.
Every Wednesday, all night, the Prince of Peckham Pub has cocktails on offer for only £5. Now, I love London but that is definitely an unheard-of deal in the city, so how could you not?
This South London favourite continues to do it up right with their happy hour offer from 6pm – 8pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday where you can kick back and enjoy a selection of £6 cocktails or a bottle of Prosecco for just £22. Now that’s what I call a happy hour in London.
8. Bar Rumba
This famous West End nightclub is right in the heart of Piccadilly and for almost three decades has been one of London’s hottest night-out experiences.
Seven days a week, Bar Rumba is turning it up on the dance floor with immaculate music on the dancefloor, and a phenomenal happy hour deal at the bar which promises 50% off all cocktail jugs, Sol Beer buckets, and both bottles of wine and Prosecco.
Unlike the other bars on this list, Bar Rumba does have an entry fee of £10 at the door, but it’s only £5 if you book an arrival slot through their guest-list feature, which can be found on their website.
9. Barrio Brixton
Barrio Brixton is bringing all the Latin American vibes with their vibrant venues and brightly colored cocktails.
They call it their Happy Amigo Hour, and happy is exactly what you and all your amigos will be after enjoying their 2-for-1 cocktail deal, and maybe few cheeky tequilas since you know, they’re only £3.
Of course, after all those drinks you might be craving a palate cleanser. With their 2 tacos for £5 you won’t have to venture far to satisfy those munchies.
Don’t feel like traveling all the way down to Brixton? No worries! The resident DJ’s are keeping it lively on both sides of the Thames with locations across London like Barrio Shoreditch, Covent Garden, Angel, Soho, and Watford.
P.S.- If you sign up to their mailing list you’ll receive a voucher for one free Margarita!
10. Lost and Found
If you’re feeling lost with all the bars with happy hours to choose from, well I might have just found the best one…see what I did there..ehm, well anyway.
Right in Balham, Lost and Found is a little cocktail bar with a strong punch, and the drinks are sure to blow you away.
With a long drinks menu, Lost and Found whips creative cocktails out the wahzoo, making the most out of all the spirits, cordials, syrups, and other items on hand.
Plus, if you don’t see anything you fancy on the menu (or are just looking to try something of your own creation) they pride themselves on having bartenders willing to try and create any drink you’re dreaming of!
Oh and of course, we can’t forget the 2-for-1 cocktails served every night from 5pm – 7pm during happy hour…and the £6 cocktails served all night every Monday.
11. Be At One
Be At One takes happy hour so seriously, they have a step-by-step guide on how to get their 2-for-1 cocktail deal during it. So, here’s a quick recap;
With twelve locations in London, the first thing to do is find Be At One closest to you.
Then you can book a table during happy hour time, get all dressed up, make your way to the venue, choose your favourite cocktail (they have over 100), order, and enjoy! Easy enough right?
12. Blame Gloria
“I don’t what happened last night, but whatever I did…it wasn’t me.”
“Blame Gloria.”
“True.”
A conversation that has no doubt been had innumerable times after a night out here at Blame Gloria, especially after indulging in the 2-for-1 cocktails during happy hour. Which, may I add are served every day of the week (excluding Saturdays at both their Covent Garden and Clapham Junction locations).
