The Best Breakfast & Brunch Spots in Pimlico

Hatch 77
77 Wilton Rd, Pimlico, London SW1V 1DE
Hatch 77 is a Pimlico brunch lover’s dream.
With a delightful selection of tasty coffees, pastries, and innovative twists on classics like Eggs Benedict and pancakes & waffles (with honeycomb butter and maple syrup), your mouth will water as other happy Londoners food passes you by.
My personal favourite? The Cypriot – fried eggs, grilled halloumi, Cypriot spicy beef sausage, mixed olives and green salad. Yum!
Their innovative and indulgent fare keeps customers satisfied and planning for trip #2.
The Pimlico Grid
142 Warwick Way, Pimlico, London SW1V 4JE
The Pimlico Grid is one of those places that makes your taste buds sing for joy.
Located in the Windermere Hotel, their brunch menu ranges from light bites like Greek yoghurt with fresh banana and chocolate (only £6 and absolutely heavenly) to “The Full Grid” with eggs prepared to your liking, fresh sausage, crisp bacon, garden picked tomatoes, mushrooms, and tasty baked beans, served alongside freshly baked sourdough toast (£14).
Try one of their exquisite coffees along with your Pimlico breakfast for an extra indulgence. Their cappuccino has also earned a reputation for being “absolutely perfect.”
Famed not only for their expertly cooked meals but also for their friendly atmosphere and staff, The Pimlico Grid is a winner for Pimlico brunch and more.
Artist Residence Clubhouse
2 Cambridge St, Pimlico, London SW1V 4QQ
In the heart of Pimlico sits Artist Residence Clubhouse, a pure gem of a place for Pimlico brunch.
Munch on smashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough toast, or enjoy one of their skillfully made sandwiches – like the focaccia with mortadella and luscious burrata cheese.
Their drink menu is also very inviting, with creative alcoholic and non-alcoholic offerings, like Little Miss Sunshine (grapefruit, honey, and Prosecco) and Apple No-jito (apple juice, mint, lime, and ginger ale).
Whatever setting you choose for your breakfast in Pimlico, whether the light and airy cafe, the sunny terrace, or the comfy club room, you’re sure to have a yummy meal.
Pimlico Fresh
86-87 Wilton Rd, Pimlico, London SW1V 1DN
Famed for their excellent coffee, good-sized portions, and friendly service, Pimlico Fresh lives up to its name — with homemade dishes made fresh to order, including their legendary French toast and butternut squash and lentil stew.
Their delicious-yet-healthy food is a great place for vegans in Pimlico and vegetarians in Pimlico too.
While here you can feast on organic quiches, sausage rolls, or enjoy simple classics, like scrambled eggs with chargrilled bacon or salmon.
Their cosy spaces are also sure to brush up your Instagram feed for the day.
Iris Cafe
43A Warwick Way, Pimlico, London SW1V 1QS
Tucked away in the heart of Pimlico is a relatively new Pimilco brunch spot that’s sparking a lot of interest — Iris Cafe.
Serving brunch treats like avocado and mushrooms on freshly baked sourdough, topped with Parmesan and truffle oil or, a local favourite, smoked salmon on a croissant with two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and tarragon, their brunch menu is packed with brekkie gems.
Whatever dish you choose, make sure to do yourself a favour and take home a treat from their bakery! You won’t regret it…
No. 11 Pimlico Road
11 Pimlico Rd, London SW1W 8NA
Though No. 11 Pimlico Road isn’t officially in Pimlico (1 minute on the train, 5 minutes on the bus and 3 minutes in a taxi to Belgravia), given it bears Pimlico’s name it’s worth the mention.
They serve a great vegan breakfast in Pimlico and a vegetarian breakfast in Pimlico that may catch your fancy…
Cue house-made falafels with Avocado Green Goddess, slow-roasted tomatoes, field mushrooms and wild-farmed sourdough.
Or, for a more indulgent fare, enjoy their buttermilk pancakes with lemon curd labneh, blueberry compote and lemon balm…ahh, so good!!
P.S. – They also do a fab bottomless brunch in Pimlico too!
Giraffe, Victoria
120 Wilton Rd, Pimlico, London SW1V 1JZ
Giraffe, Victoria is great place for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores in Pimlico alike, serving up a small but delicious (and economical) brunch menu.
For meat eaters, I suggest the breakfast-filled Mexican pulled beef tacos — dipped in a rich beef sauce, topped with cheese and then grilled and served with a red pickled slaw and fries.
In other words, pure and simple Pimlico brunch satisfaction, embodied on a plate.
The Buttery
135, 137 Ebury St, London SW1W 9QU
Located in the Lime Tree Hotel, The Buttery is a rustic, yet chic cafe that has wonderful brunch offerings like spiced smashed avocado with feta, poached egg, fried cherry tomatoes and dukkah (a delicious Egyptian spice blend).
Try the Shakshuka (pictured above) for a mouth-watering brunch choice on a chilly day.
Reasonably priced and complete with a “sweet treats” menu and flavourful sides you’re sure to enjoy every bite at this Pimlico breakfast join!
P.S. – Be sure to check out their stunning garden when you’re done!
