In this post, I’ll be sharing where to find the best brunch in Greenwich London, where to find the best bottomless brunch in Greenwich, where to find the best vegan and vegetarian brunch places in Greenwich and things to do in Greenwich after your yummy breakfast.
I also used to live in Greenwich. So all recommendations come straight from my personal hunts around the neighbourhood for the best breakfast spots (you’re welcome 😉).
Where to Brunch in Greenwich: 10 Best Breakfast Spots

1. Heap’s Sausage Café
8 Nevada St, London SE10 9JL
The best breakfast in Greenwich always comes from the local spots, which is exactly why you should pay a visit to Heap’s Sausage Cafe.
Nestled right off of Greenwich Park, the cosy sausage joint has been in the local deli scene for decades. Of course, their speciality is sausage (there’s vegetarian sausages as well), but you’ll find artisanal cheese, fine charcuterie, freshly baked treats, and a darn good cup of coffee here too.
I suggest grabbing a picnic blanket and stocking up here with some breakfast finds to have a lovely brunch in Greenwich Park.
Must-Try: Sausage & Mash
2. Café Rouge
30 Stockwell St, London SE10 9JN
Of course, a trip from London to Paris is always a good time. But if you want to experience the French Bistro life without leaving Greenwich, visit Café Rouge.
The charming cafés are splattered across London, serving the kind brunch in Greenwich that screams ‘weekend catch-up’. Fit with beautiful interiors and a French-inspired menu, it’s all you need to have a perfect breakfast in Greenwich. There’s also a lovely terrace, making it the best place for outdoor brunch in Greenwich.
If I can suggest, order the Rouge Breakfast and pair it with a warm pastry of choice (the Pain au Chocolat is heavenly) if you want the full experience.
P.S – There’s a Rouge Vegetarian and Rouge Vegan available too!
Must-Try: Pain au Chocolat
3. Greenwich Grind
17 Nelson Rd, London SE10 9JB
Okay, so I won’t pretend Grind is some independent Greenwich brunch spot no one has heard of, but that doesn’t mean it’s not delicious.
Sweeping the London coffee scene by storm, Grind has become the official London hub for cool kids and good food. They’re especially well-known for their bottomless brunch in Greenwich, serving 90 minutes of bottomless prosecco for £16 (breakfast not included).
If you’re looking for vegan or vegetarian brunch in Greenwich you’ll also be super keen on their menu, particularly when it comes to their Full Vegetarian breakfast and Sweet potato harissa cakes. Mmmm.
Must-Try: Sweet potato harissa cakes
4. Royal Teas
76 Royal Hill, London SE10 8RT
Royal Teas on the other hand is the kind of independent brunch in Greenwich spot that only locals have heard of.
From quirky and warm interiors filled with artwork to the best vegetarian breakfast in Greenwich, it’s hard to resist a weekend brunch here.
There’s ‘Goodness Jars’ filled with hearty granola, smooth yoghurt and sweet cherries if you’ve got a healthy sweet tooth to Vegan & Sausage Egg Ciabattas if you’re feeling savoury.
Finish off with their speciality fresh-pressed juice and smoothies to wash it all down. It’s also a great place to have your Greenwich brunch outside (cue cosy outdoor seating).
Must-Try: Mango, passionfruit & pineapple smoothie
5. Bill’s
13 Nelson Rd, London SE10 9JB
Breakfast at Bill’s feels like you’ve stepped onto the set of Friends episode…except it includes brunch. The chain breakfast, lunch and dinner spot has gained a reputation in London for its memorable interiors and solid menu choices.
Its contemporary breakfast menu includes the breakfast classics like Eggs Benedict and a traditional English. But you can spice it up a bit with their Garden Breakfast if you’re keen.
Must-Try: Eggs Avacado Florentine
6. Cabana at the O2
The O2 Arena, Unit 201, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX
For a bottomless brunch in Greenwich with a twist, try Cabana. Housed under the iconic O2, a breakfast here is the perfect way to start a day of exploring Greenwich and even catching a show after!
Their boozy Amazon Brunch includes 3 courses and bottomless Prosecco, Capirinhas or Palm Tree Punch. But don’t worry, if you’re not in the mood to drink you can still have all the fun with their ‘Non Boozy’ alternative of unlimited Limonada Suissas or Amazon Iced Teas.
Must-Try: Hot Baked Cornbread
7. Gaucho
Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX
Gaucho is one of Greenwich’s most glamourous breakfast spots, and it shows. The Argentian Steak House is known for their fine steak, premium wine, and delicious atmosphere, with restaurants spanning across the city.
They also happen to do one of the best bottomless brunches in Greenwich. For 90 minutes you can feast on everything from Argentian favourites like the Choripan Sandwich (filled with Chorizo sausage, chimichurri
and crispy shallots) to classic Eggs Royale.
You’ll also be privied to a choice of Argentine sparkling wine, Pornstar Martinis, Aperol Spritzs and Botancials 1 (to name a few) to accompany your bottomless brunch, bottomless, of course.
Must-Try: Steak and Eggs
8. Midpoint
Anchor Iron Wharf, Ballast Quay, London SE10 9GL
A Turkish brunch spot doesn’t exactly pop to mind when you hear the name ‘Midpoint‘, but that’s exactly what it is!
Known for their friendly service, creative menu and rich Turkish cuisine, every dish here is made with love and care…and plenty of spice.
To stick with the culture, try their Turkish breakfast accompanied with fresh Turkish bread and traditional tea. Dining here also privies you to one of the best views of Canary Wharf while you’re brunching. You know, if amazing views in London are your thing.
Must-Try: Mixed Turkish Breakfast
9. The Green Cafe
285 Greenwich High Rd, London SE10 8NB
The Green Cafe is Greenwich’s local hotspot, serving simple yet delicious brunch finds.
The cosy cafe serves up a mean breakfast menu, from scrambled egg with pesto to Scottish Kippers.
But if you like to be in control, you can make morning time your way with their ‘Make Your Own Breakfast’ menu. There’s also tons of freshly baked goods waiting to tempt you once you get there.
Whatever you choose, you’ll quickly find it’s one of the best breakfast places in Greenwich.
Must-Try: Hash browns
10. Goddard’s Greenwich
22 King William Walk, London SE10 9HU
Okay, okay. So it’s not exactly brunch. But there’s never a bad time to have one of the best pies in London (but only if its at Goddard’s Greenwich).
The family-run business started in 1890, so even walking in here feels like you’ve stepped back in history. Here, you can feast on an alternative brunch of Britsh steak, chicken, vegetarian and vegan pies, all accompanied by some soul soothing mashed potato and gravy.
If the pies weren’t enough, they’ve also got some yummy desserts on offer. With everything from handmade fruit pies to crumbly bread & butter pudding for a cheeky breakfast treat.
