Located right in the heart of this charming Sussex town, this property offers a quiet retreat while still being within walking distance of Rye’s cobbled streets, history, and the stunning Sussex coast.

How to Get from London to Rye
Rye’s proximity to London makes it the perfect winter escape, just take a 1 hour/1 hour 20 minute train journey door-to-door on the Southeastern Railway, with daily trains departing from London St Pancras International to Ashford International, followed by a transfer to a local train to Rye.
Trains run regularly throughout the day, and tickets can start from as little as £16.50 when booked in advance.
P.S. – By car it’ll take you about 1 hour and 30 minutes via the M20 and A2070 .
First Classic Cottages Impressions & Interiors
Once you’ve reached the charming medieval town of Rye you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from 4 Church Square.
Upon entering, you’re welcomed by a delightful sitting room featuring a cosy wood-burner, plush furnishings, and a Smart TV.
The southerly view through the leaded window provides a picturesque outlook onto St. Mary’s Church.
Kitchen & Dining:
The kitchen/diner is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, including a double oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee machine.
We actually just ended up just making dinner at home our second night as we had everything we needed!
Bedroom & Comfort:
Ascending the stairs, you’ll find a tranquil bedroom adorned with a feature fireplace and a luxurious king-size bed,
A step leads to a dressing area, complete with a spacious wardrobe, along with a stylish bathroom and standalone tub in the adjacent bathroom.
Exploring Rye
You simply couldn’t be in a better place to explore Rye when it comes to staying on Church Square, as you’ll be within walking distance to everything from medieval churches to quaint shops, inviting pubs, delightful tea rooms, and intriguing antique shops.
The town itself is a historic gem in East Sussex, England, originally a seaport until it became a full member of the Cinque Ports confederation around 1350, receiving privileges in return for maintaining ships for the crown and gained the title, ‘The Ancient Town’.
