1. Drake & Morgan

Drake & Morgan serves brunch, breakfast, dinner and an incredible cocktail selection across both London and Manchester. Feeling hungry? Indulge in their Warm Baked Jalapeño Bread or Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles.
And if you’re looking for entertainment—well, they’ve got that too. With everything from a drag brunch to gospel brunch to a disco bottomless brunch (yes, really), the choice is yours.
Must-Try: Lavender & Violet Fizz Cocktail
2. Caravan
1 Granary Square, London N1C 4AA
If you read my King’s Cross coffee guide you’ll already know Caravan serves a mean cup of Joe — but did you know they do breakfast too?
Get your hands on one of their Hot-smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or go for a more adventurous start to your morning in King’s Cross with their Broken lamb meatballs with aubergine on flatbread.
Then again, if you’re in the mood for something sweet, there’s Vanilla Pancakes too.
Must-Try: Vanilla Pancakes & Seasonal Origin Espresso
3. German Gymnasium
1 King’s Blvd, London N1C 4BU
I was secretly hoping German Gymnasium’s brunch would be as good as their name, and I’m glad I was right.
Oozing in Instagram allure the King’s Cross breakfast spot specialises in all-day dining, with a brunch menu fit for a Queen.
Fan favourites here include The GG Breakfast filled with your choice of eggs, grilled Nürnberger sausages, tomato and potato rösti and of course, typical German sausages (like Münchener Weißwurst!).
Just keep in mind their breakfast menu (from 10am-11:30am) has a different selection to their brunch menu.
Must-Try: Anything from their sausage selection (or the Avocado & Poached Egg and their pastry selection if you’re vegetarian)
4. Granary Square Brasserie
1 Granary Square, London N1C 4AA
I went to the Granary Square Brasserie during one of my first visits to King’s Cross — what an introduction!
As far as Instagrammable King’s Cross brunch spots go, they’ve got it down. But of course, that doesn’t always mean you’ve found a good breakfast spot.
Lucky for you their Hot Buttermilk Pancakes and Eggs Royale taste as good as they sound. And their cocktails are worth shouting about too (Granary Glitz anyone?)

5. BAO King’s Cross

Although savoury Bao buns might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think ‘breakfast in King’s Cross’, Bao is worth the exception.
The chic London favourite serves fluffy handmade buns (steamed fresh every day) in a variety of flavours.
Have a go at their tasty Bao selection or enjoy a morning rice plate, Taiwanese-style.
Must-Try: Classic Bao
6. Dishoom
5 Stable St, London N1C 4AB
It’s hard to live in London without Dishoom being recommended to you at some point, but for good reason!
The iconic Indian restaurant serves a host of culture-filled breakfast favourites, from Keema Per Eedu (spicy chicken keema topped with fried eggs in a homemade bun) to The Big Bombay Breakfast (akuri, Ramsay of Carluke bacon, peppery sausages and masala beans…and that’s just the half of it!).
Must-Try: The Big Bombay
7. Rotunda
90 York Wy, London N1 9AG
Rotunda knows that weekends are for winding down and dining up, and they’ve got a breakfast menu to match.
Their 2-course set weekend brunch menu is great if you’re looking to skip the indecisiveness and get straight to brunching. And did I mention bottomless brunch, too?
Get started with their Baker’s breakfast basket to share (filled with mini pastries and muffins) followed by your choice of brunch staples like Avocado on toast or Hash steak and eggs.
Must-Try: Chopped Corneyside Farm steak hash or Avo on toast
10. Camino’s King’s Cross
The Yard, 3 Varnishers, Regent Quarter, London N1 9FD
Spanish breakfast spots don’t exactly grow on trees in London, which is why I was delighted to find Camino’s.
The home to Spanish Tapas serves one of the best bottomless brunches in King’s Cross — with unlimited cava, sangría or Puertobello pale ale plus one dish for just £35 per person (at time of writing) on Saturdays and Sundays 12pm – 4pm.
There’s also a Spanish twist on all their brunch options (which I love) from a Full Spanish brunch to morning Ibérico Pork Burgers.
Must-Try: Full Spanish Brunch
